I came across an image of Diana Ross wearing this gorgeous purple ensemble that turned out to be from a movie she did in 1975. I haven’t watched many movies from the 70’s but as usual my curiosity got the best of me.
Now, this movie was made 45 years ago so there’s a lot of problematic things about it. The plot leaves a lot to be desired but if you wanna watch a movie with Diana Ross wearing glamorous outfits then this is the movie for you. What is impressive is that Ross designed the costumes. If I’m being honest the costumes are basically the reason I watched it. I even liked the recurring polo shirt and trench coat combo.
